Yet, we all need the basic things: a website, a logo, some business cards, and maybe a promotional card or brochure to hand out to people. 1. Images are everything. Almost every design needs photos, and if you don't have them they will have to be shot or bought.

2. Websites are made from writings, photos, and navigation. A lot more can go into them - video, flash, streaming audio - but at its basics it's those three things. Do you have all the writings together? All the product or promotional photos together? Do you have a sense of the navigation that the site will have, section headers and therefore how many pages the whole thing will be? Having as much of this together yourself reduces the costs in making the site, but if you can't get them together we can help you with every facit.
