The Story of how it came together:
Shane here. I wrote this film in one sitting in a couple hours. I loved it. I wanted to make it right away; that weekend. Then people started talking about real costs and protocal and legal things. So, I held off, filled forms out, submitted grant applications and waited around for money to make the thing. Finally, the Ontario Arts Council came in with $5000. I saved another $7000 and we were ready. That took about a year and a half to sort through (there's a longer version of this story coming soon). Anyway, we shot it in the fall of 2004. Editing, sound mixing, folly, etc., over a few months and thing is done. Its preimere screening was at the 2005 ImagiNATIVE Film Festival here in Toronto. We're still sending it out, and collecting a lot of rejection letters along the way. It was the ultimate film school class, and some parts of it are really amazing. Anyway, the trailer is below.

Screenings:
The Squeeze Box made its World Preimere screening at the 2006 imagineNATIVE film festival. It also screened at the Weeneebeg Film festival in January 2007 in Moose Factory, ON. It has been sold to OUAT Media and Distribution. Soon it should be on TV - we'll let you know the details as they come.
